| Description | Recognizes human Flt1 (fms-like tyrosine kinase). No significant sequence homology is seen with human VEGF-R2/KDR or other related kinases. Species Crossreactivity: mouse. Flt1 (human 1338aa, rat 1336aa and mouse 1330aa), a putative receptor protein tyrosine kinase, is a receptor for VEGF and PLGF. Flt1 has also been described as VEGFR1 and Flk-2. It is a type 1 membrane protein and is expressed in normal lung, placenta, liver, kidney, heart, and brain but not in tumor cells. |
