Description | This AP1G2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human AP1G2. Adaptins are important components of clathrin-coatedvesicles transporting ligand-receptor complexes from the plasmamembrane or from the trans-Golgi network to lysosomes. The adaptinfamily of proteins is compsed of four classes of molecules namedalpha, beta-, beta prime- and gamma- adaptins. Adaptins, togetherwith medium and small subunits, form a heterotetrameric complexcalled an adaptor, whose role is to promote the formation ofclathrin-coated pits and vesicles. The protein encoded by this geneis a gamma-adaptin protein and it belongs to the adapt |
