| Description | Specificity: MCPH1 antibody detects endogenous levels of total MCPH1. Function: Implicated in chromosome condensation and DNA damage induced cellular responses. May play a role in neurogenesis and regulation of the size of the cerebral cortex.Subunit Structure: Interacts with CDC27 and maybe other components of the APC/C complex. Interacts with histone variant H2AFX under DNA damage conditions.Similarity: BRCT domain 1 is required to prevent abnormal chromosome condensation.
