| Description | The Anti-Mouse CD11b Antibody (M1/70) specifically binds to the mouse CD11b. CD11b (integrin alphaM glycoprotein) is a 170 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein which associates non-convalently with CD18 to form alphaMbeta2 integrin (Mac-1) and binds to ICAM-1 (CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-4 (CD242), iC3b, fibrinogen, and heparin. CD11b (Mac-1) is expressed on the surface of myeloid-derived dendritic cells, tissue macrophages, NK cells, microglia, granulocytes, monocytes, and subsets of T and B cells (for instance, B-1 B lymphocytes). CD11b has been used as a marker to distinguish naive and memory CD8 T cells. It has been reported that M1/70 blocks cell adherence and C3bi binding.
