| Description | This FBLN5 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 393-421 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human FBLN5. The protein encoded by this gene is a secreted,extracellular matrix protein containing an Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) motifand calcium-binding EGF-like domains. It promotes adhesion ofendothelial cells through interaction of integrins and the RGDmotif. It is prominently expressed in developing arteries but lessso in adult vessels.
