Description | This antibody is specific for the Propeptide domain of ADAM10 and can detect the latent form of the enzyme. It will not recognize the furin-cleaved form of ADAM10. Description: The antibody is a polyclonal antibody made to the metalloproteinase ADAM-10. The antibody is made to a synthetic peptide based on the Propeptide domain of human ADAM-10. The antibody has been peptide-affinity purified, concentrated to 1 mg/ml, with the addition of 0.05% Sodium Azide as preservative, and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant. ADAM-10, also known as MADM or Kuzbanian (Kuz), was first described as a membrane-associated protease that degraded myelin basic protein in the brain. A Drosophila mutant named Kuzbanian (Kuz), with defects in Notch signaling of neurona |
