| Description | This antibody recognizes ~200-300 kDa kDa of human Laminin protein. lt cross reacts with human, mouse and rat tissues. Laminin family consists of 5 subunits ,A B1,B2 M and S. Laminin is a ubiquitous non-collagenous connective tissueglycoprotein that is a major constituent of basement membranes. lt is broadly expressed in: skin, heart, lung, and thereproductive tracts. The expression of Iaminin (Ln)alpha1-chain in developing and adult human tissues ln both fetal andadult kidney, a distinct immunoreaclivity was seen in basement membranes (BM). The laminin A chain is present inepithelial, endothelial, and smooth muscle basement membranes. The laminin protein can be phosphorylated in Hela cellsby EGF stimulation in vitro |
