Description | Specificity: Human KCNJ5/Kir3.4/GIRK4. This potassium channel is controlled by G proteins. Inward rectifierpotassium channels are characterized by a greater tendency to allowpotassium to flow into the cell rather than out of it. their voltagedependence is regulated by the concentration of extracellular potassium; as external potassium is raised, the voltage range of the channelopening shifts to more positive voltages. the inward rectification ismainly due to the blockage of outward current by internal magnesium. |
Immunogen | Immunogen: KCNJ5 (NP 000881.3, aa321-419 partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa. Conjugation: Unconjugated |
