Description | This TACR1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 219-248 amino acids from the Central region of human TACR1. This gene belongs to a gene family of tachykininreceptors. These tachykinin receptors are characterized byinteractions with G proteins and contain seven hydrophobictransmembrane regions. This gene encodes the receptor for thetachykinin substance P, also referred to as neurokinin 1. Theencoded protein is also involved in the mediation ofphosphatidylinositol metabolism of substance P.
