| Description | Specificity: Western blot analysis of extracts from mouse craniofacial tissue, using DDIT3 antibody. Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded mouse spleen using DDIT3 antibody at dilution of 1:100 (400x lens). Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded rat kidney using DDIT3 antibody at dilution of 1:100 (200x lens). DDIT3 was identified as a C/EBP-homologous protein that inhibits C/EBP and LAP in a dominant-negative manner (1). DDIT3 expression is induced by certain cellular stresses including starvation and the induced DDIT3 suppresses cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase (2).
