| Description | This CIB1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 122-151 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CIB1. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of thecalcium-binding protein family. The specific function of thisprotein has not yet been determined; however this protein is knownto interact with DNA-dependent protein kinase and may play a rolein kinase-phosphatase regulation of DNA end joining. This proteinalso interacts with integrin alpha(IIb)beta(3), which may implicatethis protein as a regulatory molecule for alpha(IIb)beta(3). |
