| Description | Mitochondrial creatine (MtCK) kinase is responsible for the transfer of high energy phosphate from mitochondria to the cytosolic carrier, creatine. Reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens (e.g. creatine phosphate).
