It phosphorylates PtdIns, PtdIns4P and PtdIns(4, 5)P2 with a preference for PtdIns(4, 5)P2. Defects in PIK3CA are associated with colorectal cancer (CRC). Defects in PIK3CA are associated with breast cancer. |
