Description | This SYT1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 349-377 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SYT1. The synaptotagmins are integral membrane proteins ofsynaptic vesicles thought to serve as Ca(2+) sensors in the processof vesicular trafficking and exocytosis. Calcium binding tosynaptotagmin-1 participates in triggering neurotransmitter releaseat the synapse (Fernandez-Chacon et al., 2001 [PubMed11242035]). |
