| Description | This CREB5 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CREB5. The product of this gene belongs to the CRE (cAMP responseelement)-binding protein family. Members of this family containzinc-finger and bZIP DNA-binding domains. The encoded proteinspecifically binds to CRE as a homodimer or a heterodimer withc-Jun or CRE-BP1, and functions as a CRE-dependent trans-activator.Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding differentisoforms have been identified. |
