| Description | Recognizes human GFRa2. Species Crossreactivity: mouse, rat. Neurturin is a member of the GDNF family and has an important role in the control of vertebrate neuron survival and differentiation. GFRa2 is a receptor for neurturin. It mediates the NRTN-induced autophosphorylation and activation of the RET receptor. It is also able to mediate GDNF signaling through the RET tyrosine kinase receptor. GRFa2 is a 52kD glycoprotein and is a GPI-linked cell surface receptor. |
