| Description | Specificity: MA4 recognizes a linear epitope in domains 1 and 2 of ICAM-3. MA4 robustly inhibits apoptotic cell interaction with phagocytes. Intercellular adhesion molecule 3 (ICAM3) also known as CD50 (Cluster of Differentiation 50), is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein, which normally contain 2-9 immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, and binds to the leukocyte adhesion LFA-1 protein. This protein is constitutively and abundantly expressed by all leucocytes and may be the most important ligand for LFA-1 in the initiation of the immune response.
