| Description | Polyclonal antibody to detect FoxO1 (Phospho-Ser319) in human; mouse and Rat samples. Forkhead box O (FoxO) transcription factors are downstream targets of the serine/threonine protein kinase B (PKB) /Akt. The Akt kinase regulates processes of cellular proliferation and survival. Within the family; three members (FoxO1; FoxO4; and FoxO3a) have sequence similarity to the nematode orthologue DAF-16; which mediates signaling via a pathway involving IGFR1; PI3K; and Akt. The FoxO signaling is regulated by their interactions with other intracellular proteins as well as their post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation.
