Description | Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Proto-oncogene Wnt-1(WNT1) detection. Tested with WB in Human. Background: Wingless-type MMIV integration site family, member 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the WNT1 gene. This gene is a member of the WNT gene family. The gene was assigned to human chromosome 12q13.12. The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes that encode secreted signaling proteins. The Wnt1 protein functions in the induction of the mesencephalon and cerebellum. However, the gene mutations might not have a significant role in Joubert syndrome. |
Immunogen | Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus of human Wnt1 (45-74aa NLLTDSKSLQLVLEPSLQLLSRKQRRLIRQ), identical to the related mouse and rat sequences. Ig Type: Rabbit IgG |
