| Description | This antibody recognizes CD45RO protein. It crossreacts with human, rat and mouse. The other species was not tested. The leukocyte common antigen (LCA/CD45) consists of a family of heavily glycosylated glycoproteins of apparent MW 180-240 kDa. It is a transmembrane protein-tyrosine-phosphatase. The LCA family includes a group of proteins present on all mature B and T lymphocytes, thymocytes, macrophages, spleen, lymph node, chronic lymphatic leukemia cells, bone marrow, thymus, and granulocytes. CD45RO is a marker for mature activated T-cell, most thymocytes and a sub-population of memory lymphocytes.
