| Description | This antibody detects endogenous human, mouse, and rat Integrin beta3 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 773. The Integrin beta3 (ITGB3) gene encodes glycoprotein IIIa (GP IIIa), the beta subunit of the platelet membrane adhesive protein receptor complex GP IIb/IIIa. The alpha subunit, GP IIb, is encoded by the ITGA2B gene. The GP IIb/IIIa complex belongs to the integrin class of cell adhesion molecule receptors that share a common heterodimeric structure with alpha and beta subunits. Glycoprotein IIIa is also the beta subunit of 2 other integrins, fibronectin receptor and vitronectin receptor which have distinctive alpha subunits. |
