FAIM encoded by this gene protects against death receptor-triggered apoptosis and regulates B-cell signaling and differentiation. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. FAIM (Fas Apoptotic Inhibitory Molecule) is a Protein Coding gene.
