| Description | This SYTL4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 5-34 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human SYTL4. This gene encodes a member of the synaptotagmin likeprotein family. Members of this family are characterized by anN-terminal Rab27 binding domain and C-terminal tandem C2 domains.The encoded protein binds specific small Rab GTPases and isinvolved in intracellular membrane trafficking. This protein bindsRab27 and may be involved in inhibiting dense core vesicleexocytosis. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcriptvariants that encode the same protein. |
