| Description | The antibody detects endogenous levels of BEX3 protein. BEX3 (Brain Expressed X-Linked 3) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are p75 NTR receptor-mediated signalling and RET signaling. An important paralog of this gene is BEX5. May be a signaling adapter molecule involved in p75NTR-mediated apoptosis induced by NGF. Plays a role in zinc-triggered neuronal death (By similarity). May play an important role in the pathogenesis of neurogenetic diseases. |
