Description: cPLA2 a calcium-dependent phospholipase A2 that catalyzes the release of arachidonic acid from membrane phospholipids. Selectively hydrolyzes arachidonyl phospholipids in the sn-2 position releasing arachidonic acid.Function: Selectively hydrolyzes arachidonyl phospholipids in the sn-2 position releasing arachidonic acid.
