| Description | This HOXB7 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 93-121 amino acids from the Central region of human HOXB7. This gene is a member of the Antp homeobox family andencodes a protein with a homeobox DNA-binding domain. It isincluded in a cluster of homeobox B genes located on chromosome 17.The encoded nuclear protein functions as a sequence-specifictranscription factor that is involved in cell proliferation anddifferentiation. Increased expression of this gene is associatedwith some cases of melanoma and ovarian carcinoma. [provided byRefSeq]. |
