| Description | Specificity: Human MRGPRX4 / MRGX4. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins, except MRGPRX3 (67%), MRGPRX1 (67%), ALMS1 (44%). MRGX4 is an Orphan-A GPCR with an unknown ligand highly similar to other MRG receptors. MRGX4 has been suggested to function in sensory neuron regulation and in the modulation of nociception. |
