| Description | Specificity: NUMBL antibody detects endogenous levels of total NUMBL. Description: Numb-like (Numbl or Nbl) binds Notch and is an intracellular modulator of Notch signaling pathway. Numbl contains a phosphotyrosine binding (PTB) domain that could bind the Y682 motif present in the cytoplasmic tail of APP. Deduced molecular weight of Numbl is 72 kDa.Function: Plays a role in the process of neurogenesis. Required throughout embryonic neurogenesis to maintain neural progenitor cells, also called radial glial cells (RGCs), by allowing their daughter cells to choose progenitor over neuronal cell fate.
