| Description | This mouse CASP3 Antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding S12 of mouse CASP3. This gene encodes a protein which is a member of thecysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Sequentialactivation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phaseof cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes whichundergo proteolytic processing at conserved aspartic residues toproduce two subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form theactive enzyme.
