| Description | This antibody detects all known long-form variants of PDE4A, including PDE4A4, PDE4A5, PDE4A8, PDE4Ax when phosphorylated at the PKA phosphorylation site. It will not cross-react with PDE4A phosphorylated at the ERK phosphorylation site. It does not cross-react with other members of the PDE family including PDE4B or PDE4D. BIOTIN-Conjugated Phosphorylated Phosphodiesterase 4A Antibody. Hydrolyzes the second messenger cAMP, which is a key regulator of many important physiological processes. |

Expression: Expressed in colonic epithelial cells (at protein level). Widespread; most abundant in skeletal muscle. Isoform 6 is detected in brain. Isoform 8 is detected in brain, placenta, lung and kidney. Isoform 7 is detected in heart and skeletal muscle. |
