Description | Tubulin is one of several members of a small family of globular proteins. The most common members of the tubulin family are alpha-tubulin and beta-tubulin, each has a molecular weight of approximately 55 kDa. Neuron-specific class III beta-Tubulin, also called TUBB3, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TUBB3 gene which maps to chromosome 16q24.3.[1] It was significantly expressed in fibroblasts. And it has an important function in antimicrotubule drug resistance. [2] |
Immunogen | Immunogen: A synthetic peptide (conjugated with KLH) corresponding to the N-terminal of beta3-tubulin. |
