| Description | Specificity: MOK antibody detects endogenous levels of MOK. Description: MOK a CMGC protein kinase of the RCK family. Possesses a Thr-Glu-Tyr motif in the activation loop domain, as do classical MAP kinases. Associates with and is apparently stabilized by HSP90.Function: Able to phosphorylate several exogenous substrates and to undergo autophosphorylation. Negatively regulates cilium length in a cAMP and mTORC1 signaling-dependent manner.Post-translational Modifications: Autophosphorylated.Similarity: Belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. CMGC Ser/Thr protein kinase family. CDC2/CDKX subfamily. |
