Description | EPH receptor A3 (EphA3), with 983-amino acid protein (about 110kDa), belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein-tyrosine kinase family. The Ephrins and Eph-related receptors comprise at least 14 members of receptor protein-tyrosine kinases, which are divided into the EphA and EphB class and have been implicated in mediating developmental events, especially in the nervous system and in erythropoiesis. EphA3 is also known Cek4, Mek4, Hek and binds to EphA5, EphA2, EphA1, EphA4 and EphB1. |
