| Description | Rabbit anti LIMK1 (pThr508) antibody recognizes LIM domain kinase 1 (LIMK1), when phosphorylated at threonine 505. LIMK1 is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family involved in the regulation of actin cytoskeleton reorganization. LIMK1 is phosphorylated at threonine 508 by Cdc42/Rac-PAK1, 2, 4 and ROCK1, increasing LIMK1 kinase activity and leads to stabilization of the actin cytoskeleton (Petrilli et al. 2014). |
