| Description | Specificity: Anti-Mre11 [Murine MAb recognizes Mre11, a 80 kD Mn+2-dependent exonuclease and endonuclease involved in the end-processing of double stranded DNA breaks.]. This antibody recognizes human Mre11, an 80 kD protein that acts as a Mn+2- dependent double stranded DNA 3' to 5' exonuclease and a single stranded DNA endonuclease. It is part of a larger complex with Rad50, p95 (Nibrin), and possibly other proteins involved in the nucleolytic end-processing of double strand breaks and telomere maintenance. |
