| Description | Recognize 20 kd bovine myelin basic proteins. May cross-react with other isoforms of other mammalian myelin basic proteins as the affinity binding-sequence is identical. Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-MBP antibody is developed with bovine myelin basic protein as the immunogen. The antibody is affinity purified with an immuno-dominant peptide (PRTPPPSQGKGRGL), the peptide sequence is identical for most of the isoforms of mammalian myelin basic proteins. |
