Description | Specificity: GATA1 antibody (Ser142) detects endogenous levels of GATA1 only when phosphorylated at serine 142. GATA1 is a transcriptional activator which probably serves as a general switch factor for erythroid development. It binds to DNA sites with the consensus sequence [AT]GATA[AG] within regulatory regions of globin genes and of other genes expressed in erythroid cells. |
Immunogen | Immunogen: GATA1 antibody was raised in Rabbit using a synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human GATA1 around the phosphorylation site of serine 142 (R-L-SP-P-D) as the immunogen. |
