| Description | Mouse anti Human Cdk6 antibody, clone DCS-83 recognizes the human cyclin dependent kinase 6, also known as Cdk6 or Serine/threonine-protein kinase PLSTIRE. Cdk6 is a 326 amino acid member of the CDC2/CDKX subfamily containing a single protein kinase domain. Pck6 migrates at ~37kDa in Western blotting under reducing conditions. Cdk6 pays an important role in cell cycle progression from the G1 to S phase (Sun et al. 2008) Mouse anti Human Cdk6, clone DCS83 additionally recognizes both the rat and mouse homologs of Human Cdk6. and has been successfully used for immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescesnce on acetone/methanol fixed cell preparations (Lukas et al. 1999). |
