| Description | This TAF8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 151-178 amino acids from the Central region of human TAF8. This gene encodes one of several TATA-binding protein(TBP)-associated factors (TAFs), which are integral subunits of thegeneral transcription factor complex TFIID. TFIID recognizes thecore promoter of many genes and nucleates the assembly of atranscription preinitiation complex containing RNA polymerase IIand other initiation factors.
