Can dephosphorylate and activate the actin binding/depolymerizing factor cofilin, which subsequently binds to actin filaments and stimulates their disassembly (By similarity).Subunit Structure: Does not bind to, or colocalize with, filamentous actin.Similarity: Belongs to the protein-tyrosine phosphatase family. |
