No cross-reactivity with IKK beta or IKK gamma. Nuclear factor kappa B (NF- kappa B) is a ubiquitous transcription factor and key mediator of gene expression during immune and inflammatory responses. NF- kappa B activates numerous genes in response to extracellular stimuli, such as IL-1, TNF alpha , and LPS. NF- kappa B is associated with I kappa B in cytoplasm, which inhibits NF- kappa B activity.
