| Description | Specificity: Anti-DAPK2 [Rabbit antibody to peptide corresponding to aa 356-370 of human DAP Kinase 2. Recognizes human, mouse and rat DAP Kinase 2.]. This antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat DAPK2 (approx. 42 kD). No crossreactivity with DAPK. Apoptosis is mediated by death domaincontaining adapter molecules and the caspase family of proteases. Certain serine/threonine protein kinases, such as RIP and DAP kinase, are mediators of apoptosis. DAP kinase (DAPK) is a proapoptotic, calcium-regulated serine/threonine kinase containing a death domain. Expression of DAPK induces cell death and suppresses oncogenic transformation.
