| Description | This antibody reacts only with the zymogen form of MMP26. Activated MMP26 is not detected, since the propeptide domain is released on activation. The antibody does not cross react with the other MMP family members (MMP1, MMP2, MMP7, etc.). Description: The antibody is a Rabbit antibody to the Matrix Metalloproteinase MMP-26, (Matrilysin-2), made with a synthetic peptide based on the Propeptide domain of human MMP-26. The antibody binds to MMP-26, but does not cross react with the other MMP family members (MMP1, MMP2, MMP7, etc.). The antibody has been peptide-affinity purified, concentrated to 1mg/ml with the addition of Sodium Azide as preservative, and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant.Relevance: Proteins of the matrix metalloprotein |
