| Description | Specificity: ITGA9 antibody detects endogenous levels of total ITGA9. Function: Integrin alpha-9/beta-1 (ITGA9:ITGB1) is a receptor for VCAM1, cytotactin and osteopontin. It recognizes the sequence A-E-I-D-G-I-E-L in cytotactin.Subunit Structure: Heterodimer of an alpha and a beta subunit. Alpha-9 (ITGA9) associates with beta-1 (ITGB1). Integrin ITGA9:ITGB1 interacts with FBLN5 (via N-terminus).Similarity: Belongs to the integrin alpha chain family. |
