| Description | This CNTNAP4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1204-1231 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CNTNAP4. This gene product belongs to the neurexin family, membersof which function in the vertebrate nervous system as cell adhesionmolecules and receptors. This protein, like other neurexinproteins, contains epidermal growth factor repeats and laminin Gdomains. In addition, it includes an F5/8 type C domain,discoidin/neuropilin- and fibrinogen-like domains, andthrombospondin N-terminal-like domains. Alternative splicingresults in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms. |
