| Description | This MCL1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 217-245 amino acids from the Central region of human MCL1. This gene encodes an anti-apoptotic protein, which is amember of the Bcl-2 family. Alternative splicing results inmultiple transcript variants. The longest gene product (isoform 1)enhances cell survival by inhibiting apoptosis while thealternatively spliced shorter gene products (isoform 2 and isoform3) promote apoptosis and are death-inducing. |
