| Description | This PYCARD antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 129-158 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PYCARD. This gene encodes an adaptor protein that is composed oftwo protein-protein interaction domains: a N-terminalPYRIN-PAAD-DAPIN domain (PYD) and a C-terminal caspase-recruitmentdomain (CARD). The PYD and CARD domains are members of thesix-helix bundle death domain-fold superfamily that mediatesassembly of large signaling complexes in the inflammatory andapoptotic signaling pathways via the activation of caspase.
