| Description | Specificity: Phospho-Synuclein-alpha (Tyr133) antibody detects endogenous levels of Synuclein-alpha only when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 133. Description: Alpha-synuclein is a member of the synuclein family, which also includes beta-and gamma-synuclein. Synucleins are abundantly expressed in the brain and alpha-and beta-synuclein inhibit phospholipase D2 selectively.Function: May be involved in the regulation of dopamine release and transport. Induces fibrillization of microtubule-associated protein tau.
