| Description | This NDUFAF2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 71-99 amino acids from the Central region of human NDUFAF2. NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase (complex I) catalyzes thetransfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone (coenzyme Q) in thefirst step of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, resulting in thetranslocation of protons across the inner mitochondrial membrane.This gene encodes a complex I assembly factor. Mutations in thisgene cause progressive encephalopathy resulting from mitochondrialcomplex I deficiency. |
