| Description | This RBMS2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 1-30 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human RBMS2. RBMS2 is a member of a smallfamily of proteins which bind single stranded DNA/RNA. Theseproteins are characterized by the presence of two sets ofribonucleoprotein consensus sequence (RNP-CS) that containconserved motifs, RNP1 and RNP2, originally described in RNAbinding proteins, and required for DNA binding. The RBMS proteinshave been implicated in such diverse functions as DNA replication,gene transcription, cell cycle progression and apoptosis.
